Vehicle Repairs. We've Got What It Takes.

Rubber-to-metal parts are used as elastic joints between chassis and body, especially in multi-link axle designs. They absorb the vibrations generated by the road surface and drive units while the vehicle is in motion thus making a significant contribution to increasing driving comfort and noise insulation. In addition, they ensure driving safety by improving steering behaviour and driving stability on uneven road surfaces as well as braking and avoidance manoeuvers.

The greatest challenge for modern, technologically complex vehicles is the balance between performance, economy, and environmental compatibility. However, many of the roads they drive on are far from perfect. As a result, the chassis and the steering are often subjected to extreme loads, which accordingly increases the quality demands placed on wear parts.

In the rubber-to-metal sector, febi offers one of the widest ranges in the Independent Aftermarket - naturally in OE matching quality. This also includes bearings for control arms, which febi also offers as liquid-filled hydraulic bush.

Steering parts in particular are subject to special care in design, manufacturing, and assembly. In order to maintain stable road holding, even in hazardous situations, all installed steering parts must meet the high requirements of precise and high-quality production.

With a large selection of safety-relevant steering components, including anti roll bar bushes, febi makes a contribution to road safety.

Easy Change Possible

Quality by Conviction

The anti roll bar is an important component for driving dynamics. It reduces vehicle body roll when cornering. It is connected to the body and to the moving suspension struts.

The control arm is attached to the body by bearings. They allow the necessary movements for the suspension, dampen shocks and vibrations, but also provide sufficient stiffness and robustness for stable driving behaviour. For this important task, only parts that meet the highest demands should be used.

Control arm bushes from febi are therefore intensively tested. Our quality management tests the offered control arm bushes for various requirements and loads, e.g. fitting accuracy, dimensional accuracy, material quality, and tensile strength.

If you hear rumbling noises from the front axle area when the road is uneven, this can be caused by a defective connecting rod or a worn out anti roll bar bush. They can usually be changed without great effort. Unlike other parts of the front axle, a subsequent wheel alignment is not necessary.

Quality by Conviction

The Right (Rubber) Compound

Anti roll bar bushes from febi are intensively tested. Our quality management tests the offered anti roll bar bushes for various requirements and loads, e.g. accuracy of fit, dimensional accuracy, material quality, and tensile strength.

The elastomer materials used in the manufacturing of rubber-to-metal parts are precisely matched to the technical requirements and loads of their specific installation position. febi's product range exclusively includes rubber-to-metal parts whose rubber compounds are also used by the original manufacturers.

In the area of steering technology, febi is one of the leading suppliers in the Independent Aftermarket. The range includes only anti roll bar bushes that guarantee 100% driving stability.

Complete Repair Kits

In everyday workshop life, it is not uncommon for a worn part to have to be replaced as well as any fixings. However, these additional parts - usually bolts or nuts - are often not included with the individually available replacement part.

febi offers various anti roll bar bush kits with all attachments required for fair value repair, e.g. brackets, nuts and bolts.
