partsfinder makes looking for spare parts easier than ever. The search engine offers direct access to over 60,000 commercial and non-commercial vehicle products from the bilstein group. It finds the products result based on just a few keywords. partsfinder is free of charge and can be used without registering, but exclusive additional functions are available to registered users.

What words can I search for with partsfinder?
You can search for all the words and terms you know. You can enter vehicle information, item information or reference numbers in the search box, in any order and combination. The system then displays all the results matching your search input. The sidebar on the left allows you to refine your search, or you can simply add additional information in the search box.
What is the difference between the “Text Search" and the “Number Search”?
These are two different search categories. The Number Search is a special search mode optimised for bilstein group numbers, OE numbers and other reference numbers. In addition, the Number Search also offers automatic search suggestions and “found via” information. With the Text Search, you can search using any word or term. You can enter vehicle information, item information or article numbers in the search box, in any order or combination. The system then displays all the results matching your search input.
Can I also use the “Text Search” to search for numbers?
Yes, you can. This will deliver more results than the number search, as the system searches a larger pool of information.
I didn’t get any results. What can I do?
Your search returned zero hits? Please try again with the following changes:
1. Reset all search filters:
- If your input did not return any results, resetting the search filters may help. These filters limit the search, e.g. to a specific vehicle manufacturer or a specific model. The quickest way of resetting the filters is to click on the partsfinder logo at the top of the page.
2. Use the number search:
- In addition to entering information in the search box, you may be able to find the required spare part by entering specific product numbers. You can enter either the item numbers of febi, SWAG and Blue Print products, or the numbers of the OEM manufacturer. If the search using a product number still returns no results, please check your input. You might have made a typing error.
3. Define your vehicle:
- The manufacturer list allows you to select your vehicle with just three clicks. After entering the model designation, select the right model variant to display a complete list of all the spare parts available for this vehicle.
4. Are you looking for a truck part?
- Only car parts can be found using the bilstein group partsfinder at the moment. febi truck parts can be found at http://trucks.febi-parts.com/

Why is a license plate search not available in every country?
The license plate search is a service provided by the authorities in the respective country and is therefore not available in every country.
I have received no confirmation of my registration. What can I do?
Please check your spam folder first. The confirmation of your registration may have ended up there. If not, please send us an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
What can I do if I have received confirmation of my registration, but the login doesn’t work?
Have you confirmed your registration by clicking on the link? If not, please click the confirmation link. If you no longer have the confirmation email, please send us an e-mail to email@example.com or use our contact form.
How can I opt in/opt out for a newsletter?
You have the option of opting in for a newsletter when registering. You can opt out from the newsletter at any time or opt in subsequently via your partsfinder profile. Opting in for a newsletter without registration is currently not possible.
How can I delete my user account?
To delete your user account, please send us an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org or use our contact form. Please indicate the e-mail address you used for registration to enable us to identify your user account.
Why can I not see certain brands / items / information?
Not all items and brands are released for sale in every country.
Where can I find further information on the item?
Clicking on a spare part opens the detailed product page. You will see a clear overview of all the technical information (e.g. dimension, weight, installation side).

Why do I sometimes see English texts even though I have selected another language?
English texts are still displayed where the system does not have a translation yet. We are doing our best to provide the missing information as quickly as possible.
What is a ProKit?
With its ProKits, febi bilstein offers an innovative range of repair kits guaranteed to contain all the parts required for the repair shop in one convenient box. One classic example are the nuts and bolts that often have to be replaced during repairs, but are not included when ordering the part. This results in additional shopping trips for the workshop, wasting their time and inevitably losing them money. febi ProKit is the made-to-measure complete solution for this problem. It allows workshops to carry out the necessary repairs without delay. This not only saves time and money, it also increases customer satisfaction.
Why should the brand-specific characteristics be checked?
Minor differences between the item characteristics may exist between the individual brands. We therefore recommend that you always double-check the characteristics.
An item number is not shown in the manual of the repair kit. Where can I get the necessary information?
If an item number is not shown in the kit content, this means that the article is not available as an individual item. Your sales representative will be happy to assist you.
Why are only a few manufacturers / models displayed in the sidebar?
The initial view of the sidebar shows the Top 15 manufacturers or models in the respective country in alphabetical order. The Top 15 are determined from the vehicle registration figures for that country, and generally cover around 80 to 90% of the market. If we don’t have registration figures for the particular country, we determine the Top 15 on the basis of the worldwide registration figures.
What is the "Universal” manufacturer?
The manufacturer "Universal" indicates parts that are used by all popular manufacturers. linked items can be universally used in all vehicles.
Why do I see vehicles that are not relevant for my country?
All vehicles are displayed, irrespective of the registration figures for a particular country. The sidebar is limited to the Top 15 models on the basis of the registration figures in your country.
