Vehicle Repairs. We've Got What it Takes.
The cabin air filter makes a significant contribution to driving comfort. By cleaning the breathing air in the vehicle, it increases the driver's well-being and prevents headaches and nausea. The resulting effect on the driver's ability to concentrate also helps to better assess possible dangerous situations on the road and to be able to react appropriately.
febi offers an extensive range of precisely fitting cabin air filters "Made in Germany" - naturally in OE matching quality. They contribute reliably to reducing the concentration of pollutants in the vehicle and effectively alleviating the symptoms of allergy sufferers and asthmatics. The range includes versions with a paper filter, activated carbon filter, and fleece filter whereby the best possible separation and adsorption values are guaranteed across all filter media.
Regular replacement of the cabin air filter can extend the service life of the heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning system. febi recommends replacing the cabin air filter every 15,000 kilometres, but at least once a year.
A Contribution to Health
Around 100,000 litres of fresh air flows through a particle filter for the passenger compartment every hour. It contains solid components such as pollen, fine dust, or soot particles, which can settle in the lungs when inhaled.
Some suppliers save on the layer thickness of the filter material in order to be able to offer the cabin air filter at a lower price, except this method can significantly let more particles enter the vehicle interior. When buying a cabin air filter, it is therefore always worth paying attention to quality.
Activated Carbon Filters: A Clean Thing
Some of the cabin filters offered by febi are combination filters with activated carbon coating which offers optimal protection. They also absorb odours - even keeping out toxic gases such as nitrogen oxides produced during fuel combustion - and also protect against an increased concentration of ozone greenhouse gases.
Some of the cabin air filters offered by febi have activated carbon coating. Cabin air filters with activated carbon elements have a basis weight of 525 g/m2. The pores are 10,000 times smaller than a human hair. This ensures the best possible binding of the pollutants. The larger amount of material also ensures that the filter is not saturated between the recommended replacement intervals.
