An ignition lock usually consists of two components: a mechanical lock and an electrical switch. The lock with the locking cylinder guarantees that only the key matching this lock can carry out the switching operation. The attached ignition switch actuates an electrical contact according to the key position.
Ignition switches are subject to special care in design, manufacturing, and assembly. For this reason, febi only offers ignition switches in OE matching quality. The wide range also includes ignition locks and ignition lock housings.
Tested Quality
All febi ignition switches are intensively tested. Our quality management tests the offered products for different requirements and loads. In addition to accuracy of fit, dimensional accuracy, and material quality, these include non-destructive testing of electrical connections with the aid of X-ray equipment.
