Vehicle Repairs. We've Got What It Takes.
To avoid unnecessary friction between engine components, the engine is lubricated with oil. This also cools the engine components and protects them from corrosion. At the same time, the oil ensures that wear particles, combustion residues, and other contaminants are removed.
To ensure that the engine is lubricated continuously and evenly, the oil must circulate non-stop. This task is performed by the oil pump. If this component fails, considerable engine damage can occur. For this reason, the functionality should be checked with an oil pressure gauge at the slightest abnormality.
Quality by Conviction
In order to ensure that the engine is continuously supplied with the oil quantity specified by the vehicle manufacturer, oil pumps from febi are intensively tested.
Our quality management tests the offered oil pumps for various requirements and loads. These include accuracy of fit, dimensional accuracy, material quality, tensile strength, and degrees of hardness.
Supplied Complete. Repaired Non-stop.
When replacing the oil pump, it is essential that the surrounding components are also checked for wear. This applies in particular to the timing chain and sprocket which drive the oil pump and become susceptible to deformation and hardening as the service life increases.
febi offers complete oil pump kits for certain vehicle types which contain all individual parts (e.g. sprocket, chain, and guide rail) required for professional replacement.
