With this component, the engine speed and the position of the crankshaft are recorded and transmitted to the engine control unit to calculate the injection and ignition timing.

All crankshaft sensors supplied by febi are intensively tested by our quality management. The quality control of electronic components is carried out with the aid of a high-resolution X-ray device. This entails non-destructive testing to determine whether the solder joints, cables, and the general processing of the circuit boards and electrical components inside the replacement part meet febi's high-quality standards.
The corresponding sealing rings are always included in the scope of delivery.
